A brand new blend for you paper lovers out there. One of the best elements of hand papermaking is how wonderfully sustainable it can be. While I normally work with high quality and consistent fibers like Abaca and Kozo, I like to try my hand at a recycled content paper blend occasionally. This gorgeous batch came out better than I imagined. This specific blend is 50% recycled cardboard, and 50% recycled Cream Abaca, making for a lovely light Kraft colored paper. If you look closely, you can see the tiny cardboard flecks, which almost look like grains of sand. I couldn’t resist adding a touch of iridescent shimmer to make it really glisten like it’s namesake.

Medium to heavy weight with a beautiful texture. Would be great for letterpress.
